     Ontario
        Canada

Dear Sir
          I was very pleased to
get your letter of [stained] and
trust you still keep well and
strong Our son is going on very
well so is Mrs Pollexfen who desires
to be kindly remembered to
you we read the 128th psalm
as you wished it, we both
trust the little fellow will grow
up in Christ and love and
study Gods will always Any
one having Gods love needs
little Else going through this
world This is our constant
prayer for our helpless little
child My father and mother
keep in splendid health
My mother had what might
have been very serious
accident last week by the
horse falling but she fortunately
escaped with a sever [severe?] shaking
and a slight [hurt?] to one
of her legs This country has
now begun to settle down
so we will not have any
fresh disturbances for a few
years again the people have
begun to see through the political
agitators I only act as you
say for the Races simply to
get up a little national amusement
for the people ours
is the only race course in this
country at which whiskey tents
are not allowed I read your
pamphlets with [malin?] possible
pleasure and have [---?] them
to others I never bet at any
races with Kind regards Ever
yours faithfully
          Fred. H. Pollexfen
