                  We arrived here the 14th Inst [of this month?]
After an agreeable passage of Forty three days, I delivered
thy letters to Our friends here, According to direction I
find great Alteration in this City for the worse House Rent
& provision is Extravagantly High. I dont Expect to get a
Small Ship for less than œ100 Per Annum low priced Linens
[--?] & 7/8 sells the Best of any Kind of Goods from Europe
from 10d to 20d Pr yd [per yard?] if thee should think proper
to Make trial a few Boxes thee may depend I will do all that
Lays in my power for thy Interest. I remain with Dr [dear?]
