Derry 26th March 1871

Dear Brother Sister and 
mother we are all well 
but little Samuel he 
was sick before he left 
home but he is mending 
do not be grieving after 
us I trust in god we will 
be all right The bote [boat?] will
leave derry [Derry?] this evening 
at 6 oclock I hope you 
get home safe 
and Little William to [too?] I will
 have no opportunity of 
 riting [writing] any more this 
side the sea but if the
 Lord conducts me safe
 I will rite [write?]  continuely [continually]
