My dear Mr. Cameron,
              You must excuse
my not acknowledging your
kind letter all this time, but
I have been waiting for the
communication to which you
referred in your letter.
   Owing to a change of address
a letter written to me in regard
to the property and mentioning
your name after having been delayed
some days has just been
received.
   The letter is from a Mr Frank
L. [Lery?] asking me to call
at his office which I shall
do on Jan 3rd.
   I thank you much for your
kind interest and I trust
something satisfactory may
come from the interview.
   I have not as yet made
any settlement in
regard to this matter
& so I hope Mr Lery may
be the right man in the right
place.
   The news from Ireland is
very good I am thankful to
say but I long to see matters
in shape so that I may return.
   The [Couper's will?] has not
yet been drafted but I hope it
will soon be. I have asked that
