27th [November 1860] Dry day, the wind continues to blow from the East stil [still?] carraing [carrying?] Absalom on to Newyork [New York?] two men dug continued to sow Redchaff wheat on the Brireybray A note from Absalom posted in Cork on the 23rd inst and misscent [mis-sent?] to Dounaghmore [Donaghmore?] in Co Tyrone, by Dungannon, in which he informs me that he is well and happy Mr & Mrs Magowan & child - Mary Kidd - here
