Meeting of the Association of the Friends of Ireland.

AMERICA. - IRELAND. - A Meeting of the Association
of the friends of Ireland, was held in the City
of Savanna, on the 24th of September, to get up
addresses to the Irish Catholics, and to the people of
Georgia, calling on them to assist in the objects of
the Association at a further meeting. It was ordered
that those addresses be sent to the Catholic Association
of Ireland; and to express their hope that they
would be able to send Rent over to Ireland in the
close of the year. - Catholic Journal
