       PHILADELPHIA AND GLASGOW LINE OF PACKETS.
                 A REGULAR TRADER.
        FROM GLASGOW FOR PHILADELPHIA DIRECT.

      The remarkably fast-sailing first-class
         American Ship
                HANNAH THORNTON,
               560 Tons Register,
              E. D. HOVEY, Commander.
     Will be Despatched on the 15th DECEMBER.
  This fine Ship is well-known in the trade, and has
superior accommodation for Cabin, Second Cabin, and
Steerage Passengers.
  The 'tween Decks are lofty, exceedingly well lighted
and ventilated, and will be fitted up in such a manner
as to ensure the health and comfort of Passengers, who
will be supplied with Provisions according to the new
British Passenger Act, viz.:- 10«lbs. Bread, Biscuit,
Flour, Oatmeal, and Rice, «lb. Sugar, «lb. Molasses,
and 2oz. Tea per Week, with abundance of Water, Fuel,&c.
  For Freight or Passage, apply in Glasgow, to Potter
Wilson & Co., 28, St. Enoch-Square; Bell & Orr, 107,
Buchanan-Street; or to
           JAMES MACDONALD, Prince's-Dock, Belfast,
Who are despatching a Packet Ship every month for Port
Philip, Port-Adelaide, Melbourne, and Sydney, N.S.W.,
also to the New Zealand Company's settlements.
