Transcribed from the Belfast Newsletter of 24 October 1800. The brig Kitty that was put on shore near Donaghadee a few days ago, is gone to pieces in the late gales. She is the rottenest vessel ever seen by the oldest seaman here and it was a miracle that she could carry cargo.
