May [my?] Dear Cousins
  I received your very kind and welcome letter all safe I was glad
to se [see?] by it that you were all well and also that Father's
folks was well  I hope when you se [see?] him you will be  so kind
as to say how glad I would be to have a photo of him and auntie and
all the boys think [thank?] him for saying that there would be a
home for any of us if we would go the boys is all in very good
employ [employment?] at present which I am  glad to say. I was sorry
it was so longe [long?] of writing you but there was two of the
Jenny Ladies had fever for 3 months and I did not like to write
when they were ill and when they got better Mrs Cherls [Charles?]
got a very bad fall and cut his [her?] head and is very ill indeed
and a trained nurse with him [her?] She is an old woman and it may
go hard with her but I hope she will soon get better for we have a
very good home at present You wanted two of the photographs of Port
Patrick I sent you 3 but there is one for Julia birthday for I meant
to send one to her anyway for I do not know what to send for it is
not everything one can get sent I hope you will like them they are
all different views you will see and if you would like any more you
[----?]can send me word and I will send them to you. I was glad to
hear of cousin Samuel being well and having [-----?] good pay for
his work for he would not get such money here It is very nice that
[-----?] gets home to see you all in summer You said that the
weather was getting nice we had a very mild winter no frost nor
snow but it is a very wet spring and cold Still yet with us my My
brothers folks is all well I hope you will not be long in writing
again with very kind love to all
