Shirt, ruffle brooch given by Adam Duffin of Oakland, Broughshane, to his
son Adam in memory of his step sister Elizabeth. Elizabeth Duffin married Mr
McCracken and died in 1827 very soon after the birth of her only child, a
little girl named Mary Brown Mc Cracken. Elizabeth Duffin was a very pretty
girl, and was much loved by her step brothers, Charles and Adam, and her
step sister Anne Jane. When her little girl grew up she married the Revd.
Charles Parsons Reich[e?]l who afterwards became Bishop of Meath.
