Page 30 Schuler appointed Campbell Guardian Public Administrator has little to do with $3,400 000 properties Public Administrator Solicitor was named by Probate Judge Holtcamp yesterday as guardian for Hazlett Campbell. In the remainder of his life Hazlett Campbell is to receive the income from the $2000 000 trust estate of his brother, Hugh Campbell, who died recently. Hazlett Campbell’s own holdings are in trust as well, the trustee, Allen C. Orrick and the St. Louis Union Trust Company having been named by the Probate Court in 1926. His estate at that time was worth about $1,400 000. Judge Holtcamp called attention to their facts in appointing Schuler Guardian. “In this case”, he said, “about all a guardian can do is to cooperate with the trustees. Only in the event of a will contest will the guardian receive any substantial fees. Appointment of the Public Administrator who serves under his official bond, will avoid additional expense.” Transcribed by Brian McCroryClose
