[Page 1] Phila [Philadelphia] June 22nd 1884 Dear Uncle, Aunt Grandmother & cousin I take the pleasure of writing to yous [you?] a few lines to let you all know that I am well hoping that on reaching yous [you?] they will find yous [you?] all in good health & happy. I was up to see mother this morning & saw the letter secured from you which I was glad to read but very sorry to hear of Sister Eliza Jane being dead but I hope it is for the best. Well my dear friends all I hope to see yous [you?] all pretty soon as I intend to go there on my wedding tour, & I am going to get that little performance done pretty soon now [Page 2] Mother joins me in sending her & all the rest of the familys respects. Uncle David, Wife & family is all well. Aunt Eliza & family is all well she is on here now on a visit. Well my dear friends I have not got much more to say at present but the next time I write I will tell you a great deal more as I will have more to say but I think the next letter will be myself, so please write as soon as ever you get this & let me know how yous [you?] are all getting along.
