Good Prof. Kelly
GOOD PROF. KELLY. A Sound Home Endorsement. The following from the Pittsburg "Gazette the oldest and one of the most influential newspapers of the Iron City, is a well deserved tribute to a very good man. We reproduce it here to show our citizens the esteem in which Prof. Kelley [Kelly?] is held in his native city: Among the gentlemen of culture and good family antecedently who had been more or less victims of intemperance and have been reclaimed by the Murphy movement in this city, is Professor Robert Kelly, of whom we hear glowing accounts as an efficient co-laborer in the great cause. At Philiadelphia, Harrisburg, and elsewhere, Mr. Kelly has done noble service. He has just accepted an invitation to spend some time at Lancaster. Mr. Kelly's fine attainments qualify him for useful service in the cause to which he is directing his best efforts and for which he has made many sacrifices.Close
