ARRIVAL OF THE HIBERNIA
Liverpool, Monday Morning: This morning the steam ship
Hibernia, Captain Hewitt, arrived from Boston and Halifax,
having left the first named port on the 1st, and Halifax on
the 3rd inst. She brought thirty-eight passengers. During
the home trip she encountered a succession of gales, which
obstructed her progress, and on her outward passage she met
off Newfoundland with a large piece of ice, which carried
away her floats.
