E it enacted by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in ibis present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of tho same, as follows :—• 5 1.—(1.) 
At any time before tbe first day of September, one Extension of thousand eight hundred and ninety-sewn, the ^Local G-oyemment etrout-Board for Ireland may, if iboy think fit, by order under their seal door relief in authorise the board of guardians of any poor law union to administer ^aud relief in food or fuel, out of the workhouse, for any time not 10 exceeding two months from the date of such order, to any poor persons resident in tho union, and the said Board may, by a like order, revoke any such order either wholly or partly or with reference to any particular person or class of persons, (2.) 
On the receipt by the guardians of any union of any order 15 of the said Board authorising such relief, the guardians shall make provision for alTording such relief accordingly for such time and on such conditions as maybe specified in the order or until the order is revoked. 
(3.) 
Tho proviso in section two of the Poor "Relief (Ireland) Act, 25&26Vict. 
20 1802, shall not apply in i\w case of any persons for whom relief is c' 

authorised under this Act. 
(4.) 
The expenses incurred in affording relief to any person relieved under ibis Act shall ho charged in the same manner as if such expenses bad boon incurred in alTording relief in tho work-25 house lo such person under the Poor Relief (Ireland) Acts, 1838 to 1892.

If at any time before the passing of this Act any outlay has Confirma-been made by any board of guardians with the sanction of the p^m-ehy Local Government Board for Ireland for the purpose of providing guardians
