RETURN to an Older of the Honourable The House of Commons, 

dated 5 June 1S62 i-^for, 

A RETURN " of the Names of the Persons constituting the Board of Guardians of 

the Youg-hal Poor Law Union, on the 1st day of October 1858, and the 1st clay of June 1861, distinguishing, in each case, the Elected, and Ex-officio Guardians:" " COPIES of all Resolutions adopted by the Yougkal Board of Guardians, on the 

subject of filling up the Vacancy in the Roman Catholic Chaplaincy to the Workhouse, caused by the Resignation of the Rev. 
John Tuohig, stating, in each case* whether the Resolution was carried Unanimously, or on a Division, and, in the latter case, the Votes on such Division as recorded in the Minutes:" 

" Of a Statement submitted in the Month of June 1861 by the Board of Guardians, in 

relation to the Chaplaincy, and of any Correspondence in reference to such Statement and to the Chaplaincy :" 

" Of all Rules, Orders, Entries, Proceedings, and Affidavits remaining of 

Record in the Court of Queen's Bench in Ireland, in relation to an Application on behalf of the Youghal Board of Guardians for a Mandamus to the Poor Law Commissioners to compel them to provide a Roman Catholic Chaplain for the Youghal Workhouse :" 

" And, of all Entries and Minutes of the Youghal Board of Guardians in relation to 

such Proceedings, and of all Opinions of Counsel obtained by them, and of all Correspondence on the subject of filling up the vacant Chaplaincy, between the Poor Law Commissioners and the Right Rev. 
Bishop Keane, and the Rev. 
Timothy Murphy, Parish Priest of Youghal; and of all other Correspondence that has taken place upon the subject with the Poor Law Commissioners, or the Irish Government, up to the present time."
