to


Amend the Laws relating to the Relief of the


Destitute Poor and to Medical Charities in
Ireland, and to continue the Powers of the
Commissioners.


WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the Laws in force for Preamble,
the Rehef of the Destitute Poor in Ireland, and to amend
an Act passed in the Session holden in the Fourteenth 14 & 15 Vict,
and Fifteenth Years of Her Majesty, Chapter Sixty-eight, providing
5 for the better Distribution, Support, and Management of Medical
Charities in L'eland : Be it enacted by the Queen's most Excellent
Majesty, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Lords Spiritual
and Temporal,' and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled,


and by the Authority of the same, as follows :


10 I. So much of the said Acts providing for the Execution of the Lands, &c.
Laws for the Relief of the Poor in Ireland as vests in the Commis- heretofore


vested in the


sioners and their Successors all Lands and Buildings purchased or Commission-
hired and conveyed to and taken by the Commissioners under the

Provisions of the said Acts shall be and the same is hereby repealed, Board of
15 and henceforth all Lands, Tenements, and Hereditaments, and Real Guardians,
and Personal Property, heretofore vested in the Commissioners for
Purposes connected with the Administration of Relief in any Union,
