HERE AS an Act was passed in the last Session of Parlia-Preamble, ment, intituled " An Act to empower the Lord Lieutenant 11 & 12 Vict.
" or other Chief Governor or Governors of Ireland to " apprehend and detain, until the First Day of March One thousand 5 Cc eight hundred and forty-nine, such Persons as he or they shall sus-" pect of conspiring against Her Majesty's Person and Government :" And whereas it is necessary for the Safety of Ireland that the Pro¬ visions of the said Act should be continued for a limited Time : Be it therefore enacted by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty, by and 10 with the Advice and Consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present jParliament assembled, and by the Authority of the same, That all and every Person and Persons who Persons i ni¬
