e present Parliament assembled, and by the Authority of the same, THAT Parishes < 3

rr i i empowered to every Irish Parish shall have power at discretion to relieve any Helpless act. 
Poor resident therein; and in cases of temporary general distress therein, any other Poor resident therein; and to assist in preventing Men¬ dicity; and the duty of executing this Act shall primarily devolve 10 on a Committee: For which Purposes, W<fc it ftlttSJet' 1&naittt>, as follows:

Five Householders, chargeable with Grand Jury Rates for property Collector of within any Parish, may send to every Collector of Grand Jury Kates Rates to make therein a requisition for a return of Rate-payers; and every Col-R»te.najeri. 
lector shall, within Ten Days after receiving such requisition, trans-15 mit to the Chief Constable of Police acting in the Parish a return °f the sums respectively charged on and paid by every Person, not less in total payment than each, for property within his collection in the Parish, under presentments passed .at 
Assizes occurring within the Fifteen calendar Months before the date of such return, together with the name and residence of every such Person.
