Return of Sums advanced by Commissioners of First Fruits in Ireland relative to Glebe Land in Diocese of Meath

FRUITS (IRELAND.) 

AN ACCOUNT of any Sum of Money advanced by the Commissioners of First Fruits, from the Revenue entrusted to their care, for the Purchase or in Diminution of the Rent reserved on Glebe Land procured for the Parish of ItaWywMg-toorc, in the Diocese of Meath, in Ireland, about the year 1818; and also of any Sums of Money issued from the said Funds by -way of Gift 

or Loan, for the erection of a Glebe House in the said Parish at the same time ; specifying the Terms on which such Glebe Land was acquired, and, if by Lease, the duration of the Lease, together with a Statement whether said Glebe Land and House are now in the possession of the present Incumbent of said Parish, or of what other Person. 

ON the 20th of February 1811, a sum of 200 /. 
was granted by the Commis-sioners of First Fruits for the purpose of fining down the rent of 20 acres and 35 perches of land for glebe, for the parish of Ballymaglasson, in the Diocese of Meath, and, on the 21st of January 1812, the said sum was paid to Henry Hamilton, esq. 
the proprietor of said land, who thereupon granted a lease thereof for three lives, with covenant for perpetual renewal at a peppercorn fine, to the Reverend Thomas Tucker, the then incumbent and his successors, reserving a rent of 57/. 
per annum. 
On the 28th day of October 1813, the sum of 600 £ by way of loan, and the sum of 200 /. 
as a gift, were granted by the Commissioners in aid of building a glebe house on the said glebe, which several sums were afterwards duly advanced to the incumbent under the regulations of the Board. 
The said glebe land and house are not in the possession of the present Incumbent of said parish, as an ejectment was brought-in the year 1819 by the landlord for nonpayment of rent by the then incumbent, under which an eviction took place, the premises not having been redeemed by the said incumbent within the time prescribed by law, and the house and land are now in the possession of Hans Henry Hamilton, esq.
