Dear Madam:-
Mr. Lemle sent us a memorandum that you handed him
with regard to the lands in Jefferson Parish.
With regard to the Leader Realty Co. suit, we
desire to inform you that the jury rendered a verdict
sustaining the plea of prescription of ten years.
The case will be appealed to the Supreme Court,
where we believe the verdict will be reversed and
judgement rendered in favor of the Leader Company.
Mr Lemle asked us to call your attention to a loan
of $500.00 made by him to you. Please let us know
what we shall say to him about it.
Your sister, Mrs. Wood, telephoned us about
sending you a copy of the map concerning the
Right of Way of the New Orleans & Northeastern
Railroad Co. referred to in act of compromise
between the Bank Realty Co. and the N.O. &
N.E. R.R. Co., a copy of which act you have.
We shall get a copy at once and forward it to
you.
We believe that now you ought to make endeavours
to put the Bank Realty property on the market.
The sooner you start this the sooner you will
be able to get purchasers for it. Please instruct
us what to do concerning it and we shall make
efforts to dispose of the same submitting, of
course, any offers to you and getting your written
consent before any deal is closed.
