Inquisition on James Casey. 
County of Clare to wit.—An 
Inquisition indented taken for our Sovereign Lady the Queen Victoria at the Court House of the Village of Sixuiilebridgc, situate in the Barony of Lower Bunratty, in the Parish or Kilfeeuaghta and County of Claie, on the 22d Day of July in the. 
Sixteenth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lady Vietoiia, and in the Year of our Lord 1852, and which was continued by Adjournment until Tuesday the 3d Day of August in the same Year, and continued by further Adjournment from Day to Day for and during the 4th, 5th, Otii, 7th, <)th, 10th, i 1th, 12th 13th, 14th, Kith, 17th, and ]Sth Days of August, in the same Year, before Matthew Canny, Esquire, Coroner of our said Lady the Queen for the said County of Clare, on view of the Body of James Casey, then and there lying dead, upon the Oath.-, 
of Part, M'Mahon, Robert'Walton, William Mahon, Francis Morrice, Solomon Frost, Thady Kelly, Michael Cullinan, John Frost, Thomas Frost, John OTIalloran, Michael M'lnerhcny, James Baker, Thomas Howard, James Carmody, John Holmes, Denis Canny, and Michael O'Donoghoe, good and lawful Men of the said Couniy, duly chosen, and who being then and there duly sworn and charged to inquire for our' said Lady the Queen, when, how, and by what Means the said James Casey came by his Death, do upon their Oaths say, that John Christopher Delmege, of Whitehall, in the Countv of Clare, Fsquiro, and that John Gleeson (com¬ monly known as John Gleeson first), William Barnes, John Thompson, John Dwyer, James Sharp, James Postings, Thomas Clarke, and Corporal John Carter, being Eight Soldiers of Her Majesty's Thirty-first Regiment of Infantry, on the 23d Day of July in the Year aforesaid, with Force aiid Arms, at the Parish of Killecivighta aforesaid, and in the County of Clare aforesaid, in the Sixteenth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lady Victoria, the said James Casey in the Peace of God-and our Lady the Queen, then and there being, feloniously, wilfully, and of their Malice aforethought, did kill and murder, against the Peace of our said Lady the Queen, her Crown and Dignity. 
In witness whereof as well the said Coroner as the Jurors aforesaid have hereunto subscribed their Names and affixed their Seals this 18th Day of August, in.
