RECENT DEATHS
On September 9th, at Ballintoy, on the Coleraine
Circuit, ESTHER KIRKPATRICK, aged 27 years. She
left Ireland several years ago, for the United
States of America, and was engaged as a servant in
the family of Mr. Charles Ferguson, New York. She
accompanied her master to the Methodist Church, and
under the Ministry of the Word was convinced of sin,
and found peace with God. She joined the Methodist
Episcopal Church, and ornamented the Gospel of Christ
by her steady, consistant walk, to the close of her
earthly career. Her health failing, she returned home,
as it proved, to die....
