Samuel and Mary Ann and Willy James Calhoun and family also
to Mr Irvin Worthington and family. I herd [heard?] last week
that Thomas Love was gowing [going?] home. We have not seen
Rosan McCallin since the time your Grandfather was buried.
She was there Dressed very gay in Black silk if John Calhoon
could but get his passage to come out here he would have from
10 to 12 Dolars per week that would be better than roaming around
in Castletown not making a shilling but what he can spend.

Winter a Black Frost with some Fine snow and sharp cool wind
we have our winter suply [supply?] of Coal and wood in the selar

there we use a Barrle [Barrel?] of Flower [Flour?] every 2 weeks
and your Mother and Mary Anne bakes our bread. The same as
your Loaf Bread at home your mother would like to now [know?]
