Dear Mother you must not fret
to [too?] much about him he has a
good home here & many a man
gets out of work for a few days
thats [that's?] nothing in this country I
had much harder times when
I came here & had no friends at
all to lift my head when I took
sick & I was shipped to a hospital
but thank God we have a comfortable
home now & a good wife to take care
of it we will take care of him &
I always can get him a job to suit him
he is very jolly just at Present
