                                April 3rd 1876

             Raneeny [Rathneeny?] Laghey [Laghy?]

   dear Audley
   I must now write to see what you are going
to do I never looked about anney thing [anything?]
since my fathers death up to now so I think it is
time for me that I would look about it now I would
had left at his death only it was in the Spring
of the year so I could not leave the land on cropt
[uncropped?] and my mother requested me to stop
So I intend to Stop to I have down this crop but
no longer when every thing went the way it did -
I have very litle [little?] for a parsed [person?]
of 34 years so what ever you think is best to do it
now If you alow [allow?] me to stop to you come hom
[home?] and lave [leave?] it to the saying of men
otherwise send send [sic] me £50 pounds and have no
more trouble There is a good place here together with
every thing belonging to a farm beside four cows
one heifer and one bullick [bullock?] and horse
and cart If you send the money I intend to lave
[leave?] this about the 12 of May and if you dont
[don't?] come home the crop will be lost I have
some of the corn bt [but?] but very litle [little?]
of the potatoes down for the time was so backward
I had it down this time last year and I had the
potatoes down on the 20th of April
  I hope yous are both well
