Dear Uncle:
We are all well and I hope you
are enjoying the same good health.
Ma and Willie have got their insurance
on the hull but he has not sold the outfit
Brother Bob was here to see us and bought
a place at Solow Mills and Aunt Nancy
and all are well.
Uncle Bob says that Aunt Nancy only
got 36œ and she wants you to bring
the rest of her fortune out.
Ma gave him the $10 and Aunt
Nancy said that she got it all right.
Uncle Sam and family are all well
and he is salting the Blue [Schooner Red, White & Blue?].
Uncle Sam is going to put the Blue [Schooner Red, White &
Blue?] in, there is four cents to Buff.
He has cleaned up the Medora and
has only two or three more holes to bore.
The hanger is for sale at $110 [stained]
25000[lw?], of wheat and as much timber
as the Blue [Schooner Red, White & Blue?], water A2.
Auntie [Lea?] comes occasionally to hear
about you and she hopes the [Mauff?]
and things went right.
Mrs Bailey wants to know if you got
her present it was in your book
You must not forget the pipe and [everything?]
Willie Shanks is not married yet but
Mr McGlaughlin is coming in from
the country and Ma thinks something
will happen.
Mr and Mrs [Grimble?] and Mrs Powers
Mrs [See?] and Mr McKee and
Misses Sarah and Mary Bailey were
here Sunday.
If you bring and Auntie let us
know somebody wil not like it all the same.
Mr. [Grimble?] frightened James and
Mrs [Grimble?] with the toy gun and it made him sick
I hope Grandma is well and all in
good health.
I want everyone to write we have not
got a letter from you yet.
It was not Ma's fault that you did
not get your necktie for she told Willie
Shanks to put it in.
Willies leg is quite well and the little
Doctor has been here two or three times
since you went away.
The neighbors are all well, and everyone
of us excepting Ma went over New Years
to [Navisuos?] and we had a good time
Nellie and alice had a great time and
Nellie is wondering when you are
going to come home.
It was reported that Willie Shanks
was moved New years Eve
It is also going that you and [the?]
Captain [Glenn?] went home for a wife
We want a long letter like ours from you
and we all join in sending our kind
love to Grandma and Aunt and Uncle
Willie and Cousins and friends.
Write soon and send us some word.
            From your,
              Affectionate Neice
                 Maggie Martin
