Transcribed from the Belfast Newsletter, 4 June, 1784 Account of the voyage of the Friendship from Dublin to Philadelphia. Left 29 Sep 1783. Was 15 weeks on the passage and was crowded with redemptionists. She bore away for the West Indies with gaol fever on board. Capt. Reilly, 54 redemptionists and 1 cabin passenger died on the passage.
