Sunday evening (27th) H.M. Ship Albion of 74 guns and Ceres frigate came to an anchor off Bangor. The same evening arrived in this harbour the Hawk, Molly, Loyalty, Waddel, Lord Dungannon, Jenny. These vessels had sailed from St. Kitt's on the 16th June under convoy. The fleet consisted of 180 ships. A fortnight previously the convoy had scattered in a gale of wind and the Messin privateer had picked up two of the fleet.
