TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS SHALL COME

Jane Digby, widow, Thomas N. Rice, Gentleman
and Margaret Jane Rice otherwise Digby his wife
daughter of the said Jane Digby all of the Town of
Rockville of the County of Parke in the State of Indiana
and United States of America severally and respectively
Send Greeting.

        WHEREAS John Kelsey late of Drumbridge in the
County of Down duly made and published his last will and
testament in writing bearing date the Fifteenth day of
January one thousand eight hundred and thirty six whereby
he appointed Doctor Andrew Marshall of Belfast and William
Charley of Seymour Hill as Trustees of all his property of
every description either freehold or chattel, and which he
directed to be appropriated according to directions
contained in his said will, and amongst others Testator
made the following bequest " I direct my Trustees to place
at the disposal of my Niece Jane Digby (party hereto) my
shares in the Northern Bank at whatever price they then be,
for her use and her children free of any residue ".
Testator died on or about the Sixteenth day of July one
thousand eight hundred and thirty seven without altering
or revoking said Will leaving the said Jane Digby and
Margaret Jane Digby her only child heir surviving, and
Probate of same was afterwards granted to the said Andrew
Marshall alone forth of the Diocesan Court of Down and
Connor on or about the twenty eighth day of December One
thousand eight Hundred and thirty seven, AND WHEREAS
the said Bequest to the said Jane Digby consisted of Ten
Shares in the Northern Banking Company Belfast AND WHEREAS
the dividends and interest arising on said Shares were from
time to time paid to the parties entitled thereto as the
same became due as they the said Jane Digby, Thomas N Rice
and Margaret Jane Rice Do hereby J.C. respectively J.C.
acknowledge AND WHEREAS the said Jane Digby, Thomas N Rice
and Margaret Jane Rice his wife having requested the said
Andrew Marshall to sell the said Shares in the Northern
Bank, he hath accordingly done so, and the sum realized for
same was Six Hundred and forty pounds and after deducting
therefrom the sum of Six pounds seven shillings sterling
for Brokerage, and Costs the Nett Balance amounts to Six
Hundred and thirty three pounds thirteen Shillings which
he hath this Day Paid to them, as they do hereby severally
and respectively ACKNOWLEDGE
NOW KNOW YE AND THESE PRESENTS WITNESS that the said
Jane Digby Thomas N. Rice and Margaret Jane Rice do hereby
severally and respectively acknowledge declare and testify
that they have actually had and received before the sealing
and delivery of these Presents of and from the said Andrew
Marshall the said sum of Six Hundred and thirty three pounds
thirteen Shillings being the Nett proceeds of said Northern
Bank shares so as aforesaid directed in the Will of the said
John Kelsey to be placed at the disposal of his Niece the
said Jane Digby for her use and her Children AND they the
said Jane Digby, Thomas N Rice and Margaret Jane Rice for
themselves and each of them, and the Heirs, Executors and
Administrators of them and of each of them, in consideration
of the said Sum DO hereby remise Release and for Ever quit
Claim unto and discharge the said Andrew Marshall his Heirs
Executors and Administrators and his and their Lands and
Tenements, goods and Chattels and all and singular the Lands
Tenements Goods Chattels and Effects whatsoever and
wheresoever situate of the said John Kelsey deceased of and
from the said Legacy or Bequest of the said Shares in the
Northern Bank, so directed by the said Testator John Kelsey
to be placed at the disposal of the said Jane Digby for her
use and her Children, and the proceeds produce or profits
thereof, and the the (sic) Interest or dividends accrued
thereon, and also of and from all and all Manner of Actions,
suits Causes of Action and suit, sums of Money debts Accounts
reckonings damages claims and demands whatsoever at Law or
in Equity which they the said Jane Digby Thomas N Rice and
Margaret Jane Rice or any or either of them now have or hath
or ever had, or which the Executors administrators or assigns
of them or any of them could or might (If these Presents had
not been made) have had claimed or demanded from or against
the said Andrew Marshall his Heirs Executors or Administrators
or of from and against the estate and effects real or personal
of the said John Kelsey deceased, for or on account of the
said Legacy or Bequest of the said Shares in the Northern
Bank hereinbefore particularly mentioned and the proceeds
and profits thereof and the Interest or dividends accrued
thereon, or for or by reason or means or on account of any
act transaction matter or thing whatsoever in anywise
relating thereto. In Witness whereof the parties Aforesaid
Have hereunto Subscribed their Names and Affixed their Seals
this J.C. tenth day of November one thousand eight hundred
and fifty seven J.C.
