Dear Matty                    New York 5 March 1788
          The foregoing is Copy of what I last
wrote you since when I have been rather
indisposed owing to a Cold & the severe
Weather which is & has been of late more so
for a [---------?] than During the Winter
I thank God I find my self better. I write
Mr Isaac by this oppy [opportunity?] [relating?],
the Girl he wants to be informed about, Dont expect
to hear from you until the Feby Pacquet last
if any imediat [immediate?] oppy [opportunity?]
directly here I am &
the pacquets after that [are?] ordered by way of
Halifax which protects their getting here therefore
wrote be going oppy [opportunity?] from Ireland likewise
