Transcribed from the Belfast Newsletter of 22 Apr 1796. The Thames of Belfast laden with a valuable cargo of linen cloth and provisions bound to Dominica was taken by a French privateer and was retaken by H.M.S. Unicorn and Penguin and brought into Cork.
