Dr [dear?] Robert I read your letter of Decr
[December?] 29 on the 26 [inst?] and note its
contents you wish to come to this country &
say that your mother thinks you to [too?]
young But iff [if?] you want to come you are
old anough [enough?] the sooner you Come the
[better?] [stained] [torn] you are
not coming to strangers if you are coming
to a strange country you will come to the best
home you ever had and if you are coming I wish
you to come in the first vessel that will sail
from Londonderry belonging to James Carscaden
as I have payed * your passage and
sent you two pound for [pocket?] [torn] money
which James Cascaden will [pay you?] [torn]
on presenting this letter to
him and if you do not come you will send this
back the firs [first?] opportunaty [opportunity?]
bring home oatmeal with you & 1 irish cheese do
not neglect to come as soon as you can or [--ct?] of
this as I have a situation waiten [waiting?] on
you give my love to all my friends I have to Send
this by Liverpool as there is no [carry?]
and [sendt?] to Ireland as I remain
