that we are all well

Bella had a letter

last week and we
were happy to Know
that you were well
I sent you home
$50 and the draft
was dated Sept 5th 66 [1866?]
and i would like to
Know if you got it
all right [alright?] I enclose
you $50 now
I was sorry to hear
off william Adairs
death it must be
verry [very?] hard with mary
To make a living for
herself and so many
little ones
I have maid [made?] the

lately she is Sarah
Coulter weare [where?] stoppping
To Nicks and will
be for the winter
I am thinking of
gowing [going?] to live in

Ellen Piper is got

spoke of getting
her passage money
from her i would
be willing to take
it but i am doubtful
