We the subscribers, passengers on board
the Brig Mary, take this public opportunity
of returning our sincere thanks to
Capt. John Thompson, and Mr. John Ramage,
second mate of said Brig, for their
steady conduct and good treatment to us
during a passage of forty days
from Londonderry to the Capes of Delaware -
We are also happy in this public manner
of expressing our greatest acknowledgments
for the kind and humane treatment of
Mr. James Browne (Agent of said brig),
and for the plentiful allowance of good
provisions and water, which he ditributed to us
during our voyage: and we sincerely with, if
Mr Browne continues in the Passengers Trade,
that any of our who intend coming to America
will give his vessel a preference.
