To amend an A&, made in the Parliament of Irela^nd^
in the Thirty-fecond Year of His prefent Majelly,
and for more effediially improving and keeping in
Repair the Poft Roads in Ireland^ and for rendering
the Conveyance of Letters by His Majesty's Poit
, Office more fecure and expeditions.

Carriages •;


And whereas th-e Laws at prefent in force-are infufficient for the
efteftually improving and amending the fame :


IBe it therefore (EEnaaeD by the king's Moft Excellent
Majesty, by and with the Advice and Confent of the Lords
Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this prefent Parliament
affembled, and by the Authority of the lame. That His Majefty's
Poftmafters General for Ireland fhall and they are hereby required
to procure and employ, as foon as they conveniently can after the
proper and fufficient Perfons to flirvey and make
Maps of the feveral Lines of Road from Dublin to the extreme Poft
Towns in Ireland^ in Rich Dire6lions, and through fuch Poft Towns
His Majefty's Mails now travel to and from Dublin, or as the
faid Poftmafters General fhall deem moA expedient that the laid
Mails fliould travel through; and alfo to furvey and make â–  Maps of
the feveral other Roads in Ireland on which His Majefty's Mails
â– 3-16 now carried, or on which the laid Poftmafters General ihall
