June 17, 1932.

To be forwarded to Miss Charlotte Ma[?]
For Mr A. A. Campbell. [?]

Mrs. J.N. Johnson,
Hotel Baltimore,
Kansas City, Missouri.

Dear Madam:

I have your letter of the 12th instant.
The Hazlett K. Campbell trust was created by a deed
from Robert Campbell and wife to Thomas T. Gantt and David
Ranken, trustees, in the year 1877, and by a deed from Thomas
T. Gantt and David Ranken, as trustees, to James A. Campbell,
trustee for Hazlett K. Campbell, in the year 1885. Upon the
death of James A Campbell in 1890, Hugh Campbell was ap-
pointed successor trustee in place of James A. Campbell by the
Circuit Court of the City of ST. Louis, and in 1926, upon the
resignation of Hugh Campbell , as trustee, the St. Louis Union
Trust Company and I were appointed successor trustees by the
Circuit Court of the City of St. Louis. There are no deeds
affecting this trust except those above mentioned.

I have heard nothing lately about the attempt to
break the will of Hugh Campbell.

Very truly yours,

Allen C. Orrick
