Harvey March 8th 1877

dear Brother
            I had a leter [letter?]
from home and the [they?] apear [appear?]
to be in great distress it
apears [appears?] to me the [they?] are sacrificng
[sacrificing?] themselves to put things to
the good for Wm [William?] and you
but at all Events I want
you to send them [stain]
5 pounds and charge it
to me and you will be
shure [sure?] the [they?] will not put
it to a bad use as I put
mine
       no more at present
