       NOTICES OF EARLY METHODISM IN
                 IRELAND.

...METHODISM was introduced into that part of the
parish of Clones situate in Fermanagh about the year
1768.  About the same time it obtained a footing in
the town of Clones, where Richard Kelso and John Kerr,
respectable tradesmen, were among the first members
of the Society.  The former entertained Mr. Wesley in
1775; and about 1790 a son of his emigrated to America,
where he become an esteemed member of the Methodist
Episcopal Church in the city of Baltimore....
