My Dear Sister Rebecca
I take the opportunity of
writing you a few lines
trusting in god they may
find you - Sarah & William
and all Friends in good
health as this leaves us
all here at present thank
God Dear Rebecca Sister
Fanny intends please
God to Sail from Derry
on the 26th inst by the
Anchor Line her name is
SS Anchoria Fanny is
to have Miss Macoy along
with her May the Lord
Send them safe and a
Speedy voyage. Dear sister
poor Dear Father will be
very lonely after her poor
man he is getting a good
dale [deal?] of troubles in
his old age
Dear Sister I got ten
days leave to come and
see Fanny before she goes
& have brought my woman
and [Soney?] along with me
he is twice as big as
[Alicks?] Daughter
Dear sister must conclude
for the present hopeing
these few lines will find
you all in good health
as thy have all here in at
present thank God
My Dear Father Alick
and Mrs Fanny and my
[woman?] sends me in
Sending their love to
you all and believe me
