                        ROBERT MOFFATT, of North Gower.

Died, in North Gower, July, 26th, 1860, in the 46th
year of his age, Robert Moffatt, a native of the Co.
of Fermanagh, Ireland. He was savingly converted to
God, in his native land, when about 16 years of age,
by Methodist instrumentality. He emigrated to this
country in the year 1834, and in 1838 married, and
settled in North Gower, where he continued to be a
steady consistent member of the Methodist Church
until his death. ...In his decease, his worthy
pastor and eight interesting children have suffered
an irreparable loss, and the church the loss of a
worthy member. The esteem in which he was held, was
shown by one of the largest and most respectable
funeral procession[s?] ever seen in the township,
when the mournful event was improved from
Phillipians, 1.21. Toronto Christian Guardian.
