Dear Sadie
Your letter of
yesterday received this
forenoon, glad to know
you are all well, no doubt
you and Aunt are tired
as House Cleaning is a
very big job, I presume your
House looks nice as
new paper and fine carpets
make a big improvement
We thank you very
much, for your Kind Invitation
to visit you this week but
we are not prepared to
accept it this time, you
did not state what is
going on, the Chronicle
said nothing about it.
Your uncle's Heart bothers
him quite a good deal
we did have quite a
warm spell but this fine
rain will cool the air and
be a great benefit to the
growing crops, we have not
commenced cleaning yet
we have to wait till the
man can come
I wrote to Beckie
last week
will close with love
to your aunt yourself and
family.
Yours lovingly
aunt Sarah Irvine
