Emigration: The selection of free emigrants from the
countries [counties?] of Clare, Limerick and Tipperary
for the ship Charles Kerr is complete. They are composed
of the most respectable class of farm servants,
blacksmiths, carpenters, etc.[et cetera?] recommended by
the resident magistrate Clergy and gentry of their
neighbourhood who take a lively interest in their
welfare. The total number entered for embarkation at the
port of Limerick is 227 including only six infant
children. The majority of these voluntary emigrants are
from the county of Clare.
