letter, We are all pretty well
now, Lizzie is always complaining
It has been very warm weather
for this season of the year, the
boys are all well, Johns baby is
a great big boy, they are or she
is going to call it after your
old friend James Wm. [William?] N
for it Nick John wants it Nich
James had 2 weeks vacation
Lizzie said James was the best
visitor of all, when it would cry
he would just pick it up and
walk the floor. We were wishing
you were in here when he was
staying during his vacation
he would have kept you laughing.
Well I suppose the ladies
have quite a time at the
fair. Did Mrs Hibbard go to
it, she made some things
for it. How are you getting
along with that big monster
you got. How are all your
patients getting. How is that
lone widow Miss Tate I am
real sorry about Miss Best
leaving I hope her health
will get better. How is that
big strong girl Miss Harrison
got on her hall, You spoke
about your sister & brother-in-law
starting a hotel, Well
there is money to be made in
it of course, But if I had my
say I never would keep one
How is your engineer, And
how is Miss Harrisons too [two?], I
suppose Gusty has no say to
him now, There was a poor
young man died he was
only 1 week sick he was on
the cars, he was a widows
son, From ever he was taken
sick the [they?] wanted to send
for his mother, he would not
let them, thinking he would
get well enough to go home,
But death releived [relieved?] him on
Sunday, It was terrible to see
his poor mother, If she could
only been 5 minutes to have
spoken one word to him she
would be contented to see if he
was thinking of dying, Poor woman
I'm afraid not, It was a warning
for us all to be prepared, hoping
you are all well love to all from
