On the 6th Ult. [Ultimo?] at Kinston [Kingston?], Upper Canada,
after two days illness, the Hon Thomas Radcliff, elder son of
the late Rev. [Reverend?] Thomas Radcliff, Rector of St. Paul's,
Dublin aged 47 years. This distinguished officer served his
country gallantly in the four quarters of the globe followed
the Duke of Wellington through the whole of the Peninsular
campaign, during which he received eight wounds; and during the
late rebellion in Canada he commanded the Militia of the
Western Frontier, and captured the piratical schooner Ann,
having on board several of the leading insurrectionists.
