28 APPENDIX TO TWENTY-FIRST REPORT OF THE DEPUTY The Current Papers of the years 1877 and 1878 : 84 cartons full have been transmitted from the Chief Secretary's Office to this Depart¬ ment, 10 April, 1888. 
The Convict Papers of the years 1878 to 1883, inclusive, filling 76 cartons, have been transmitted from the Convict Department, 10 April, 1888. 
The whole of the foregoing documents have been carefully catalogued and placed in the State Paper Department.
