Some of these volumes contain passes to various individuals.

These books contain Orders for Change of Stations, Licences for Leave of Absence, Removal of Cheques, Order to Military Authorities to assist Civil Power, Recruiting Licences, &c, &c. 
There are some Petitions relating to Military matters entered in these vohunes.

These books contain a great quantity of information concerning Military affairs, and refer to subjects such, for instance, as Pay of Regiments, Officers' Widows, Deserters, Battle-axe Guards, Court Martials, Half Pay of Officers, Army Agents, Accounts, Array Warrants, Ammunition and Stores, Fortifications, &c, &c.
