( 5 ) the reign of Her present Majesty; and it is expedient that Grand Jury Cess within the county of the said city shall hereafter be applotted and levied according to the valuations made under the Act for the more effectual relief of the destitute poor in Ireland; 5 W& it therefore tnattti), by The QUEEN's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the Authority of the same, THAT the hereinbefore-mentioned Presentments made at the last Spring Assizes in and for the county 10 of the city of Cork shall be quashed, and that the same shall be null 

and void to all intents and purposes whatsoever, and that it shall and may be lawful to and for the members of the Grand Jury of the county of the city of Cork, who have served as such at the Spring Assizes for the county of the said city in the present year, or a Majority of their 15 number, to assemble at any time within One Month from the passing 

of this Act, and to present, to be raised off the city and suburbs of Cork, Two-third parts of the amount of the several sums of money (not being monies presentable in advance) which might have been presented at the said Spring Assizes to be raised off the city, suburbs and liberties 20 of Cork, if the said Acts of the third and fourth years of the reign of Her 

present Majesty had not been passed ; and also to present, to be raised off the said city and suburbs, Two-third parts of the amount of such monies payable in respect of contracts entered into by the Grand Jury of the county of the city of Cork, for keeping in repair roads in the 35 liberties of the city of Cork, as became due and payable up to and at 

the last Assizes holden for the county of the city of Cork; and also to present, to be raised off the said city and suburbs, Two-thirds of the amount of the several sums to which the several parties claiming com¬ pensation for malicious injuries committed within the county of the city of 30 Cork before the said Spring Assizes shall be entitled ; and also to present, 

-to be raised off the liberties of the city of Cork, as the same were ascer¬ 

tained by the said Act of the fifty-third year of the reign of King Geogre the Third, One-third part of the amountof the said several sums; and such sums so presented shall be raised and levied off the said city 3c and suburbs and the said liberties respectively, in the manner hereinafter 

provided. 
And be it Enacted, That the said Grand Jurors so assembled under the provisions of this Act may also present, to be raised off the county of the city of Cork, the whole of such sums as the said Grand Jury 40 could or might, if the said portion of the said liberties had not been 

annexed to the county of Cork, have lawfully presented in advance, to be raised off the county of the city of Cork, and the same shall be raised and levied as hereinafter provided.

Members of Grand Jury ot City of Cork may assemble in a Month; and present, to be raised off City and Suburbs, Two" thirds of suras which, might have been pre¬ sented (not in advance)on City, Suburbs and Li¬ berties, if Acta of3&4Vict.had 
not been passed.; 

and Two-thirds of auras under Contracts for re¬ pairs of Roads in Liberties, duo at Spring ABsizes ; 

and Two-thirds of Compensation for malicious In¬ juries suffered before last' Spring Assiies; and present, to be levied off the Liberties, One-third of said several sums.

And the -whole of the money capable of being pre¬ sented in advances.
